Karl Sundquist started playing coffee shops in the College town of St. Peter. He was then one of the forming members of the band Heyday. Heyday performed together in Minnesota for five years, releasing two albums and playing all over Minnesota. After the band went their separate ways in 1999, Karl Sundquist went back to coffee shops and small bars. He has since been writing music and playing around Northern Minnesota. His song writing is influenced from growing up in a small northern Minnesota town and the life the area still provides him today.
