The Visit

Voted best foreign play of the year by the NY Drama Critics Circle, the NY Times called it ‘a devastating drama’. A wealthy woman returns to her poverty stricken home town and offers them a huge sum of money to help them out of their economic hardships. But there’s one condition: she wants the life of one of the men in town who years ago had caused her to be expelled from the town in disgrace. The mayor of the town stands up for justice and humanity saying they will never give in to her demands, but she has one thing on her side – time. Don’t miss what is sure to be one of the most thought-provoking plays ever to be seen on the HCC Theatre Stage. This play will be entered in the annual Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
