This week I’d like to highlight one of my personal fav’s.. The Jag Bomb!! Now, this recipe tells you to use Red Bull.. I personally like to use Lo-Carb Monster, either way they tase great after a long week!! Bottoms up!! Or, as my grandfather would say “Here’s mud in your eye!” Enjoy!!
Jager Bomb
1/4 Can Red Bull
1 to 2 oz Jagermeister Herbal Liqueur
Pour red bull into a medium sized glass. Add a shot glass of jagermeister, and chug. (Unless you have the fancy Jag Bomb cups!! )
These are by far the best jello shots ever created! They taste like grape candy and people just devour them…then they wonder what hit them when the buzz comes out of nowhere!
Purple Passion Jello Shots
6 ounces Grape Jello (large box)
8 ounces Water (boiling)
4 ounces Amaretto
1 ounce Vodka
4 ounces Water (cold)
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol. Pour the mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups. Shot glasses are more attractive, but the paper cups are easier to eat from.
If you’ve ever been to Flaimer’s Bar in Virginia, MN, you’ll know this little shot has crowd appeal. Accept, they might not know exactly what you mean by “Ricky Bobby”; that’s because all the regulars love Billy the Bartender so we salute him by exclaiming before downing this tasty bomb, “RIIICKKKYYYY BILLLLYYYYYY BOBBBBBYYYYY!!!!” Of course, we also like to salute the one and only, Will Farrell. ENJOY!

I’m not sure who Anna is, but she sure created a refreshing shot just perfect for hot summer days!

I’ve always wanted to put the familiar shot that ‘rhymes with snow job’ as the drink of the week but always felt that outside of the bar scene, it seemed a little inappropriate. And after our recent white out, this shooter seemed very appropriate. Happy Holidays!

Next to my mama’s stuffing, my favorite part about Thanksgiving is dessert. Nothin’ says lovin’ like a fat piece of pumpkin pie loaded with whip cream. Very few things come close to homemade pumpkin pie, but this shot comes close. Enjoy!

1/4 oz. Cinnamon Schnapps
1/2 oz. Irish Cream
1/2 oz. Coffee Liqueur
Slowly layer the ingredients in the order listed above into a large shot glass. Serve.
A cocktail to celebrate the big opener! No explanation needed, enjoy!
